The best sweet n' sour around. Great teriyaki and great Mongolian Beef too. Little drab on the inside but it's not unpleasant and the staff are friendly. This is a regular spot.
Really tasty food! The person who took my order was very nice, the food was ready quickly, and the sauces were yummy. The portion size was surprisingly large and the food was clearly very fresh. The prices have changed significantly from pictures posted by the restaurant in the past (I see the really low prices are pre-covid) so be aware of that. I shared pictures of the current menu and specials. Delicious, nonetheless!
My friend told me this is his favorite for Teriyaki and now it's mine. Generous portions. My go to is the Chicken Teriyaki. Sometimes when I'm in a noodle mood I'll get the Shrimp Yakisoba. Both dishes don't disappoint it can get busy I'd recommend calling your order in for take out.
Best teriyaki out in seattle hands down. Anyone that grew up in the area knows that this is the spot. Amazing chicken and rice the salad nice and juicy ambient is amazing never full. Tables always clean and super amazing friendly staff been coming to this place for many many years.
Sweet and sour chicken was probably the best I ever had. It was actually crunchy and not soggy. Flavor was great. I liked the thinness and small size of the carrots.
When we lived near Buxx, we went there regularly. Now, on our sadly infrequent visits to the area, we make a point of visiting for dinner. You simply can't find teriyaki chicken worth eating outside the PNW, and in my opinion you can't find better in Burien than at Buxx.
This place is amazing!!! We found it by accident and decided to go in a try it out. We had the Katsu and beef combo, and the chicken and pork combo and both were delicious! So glad we decided to go in! The gentleman taking our order told us the wait would be 20-25 minutes as we went in during the dinner rush, but it was a little bit faster. I would definitely recommend trying this place
For classic Seattle teriyaki, it’s good. It’s not great but let’s reserve that for perfection. But, the food was good. They were kind of busy for lunch rush, a good sign. The rice, teriyaki chicken and salad, all good! It was a little over-priced. I think I paid 19. Id expect to pay 16... but they brought the food to the table and bussed our dishes. Service for good too.
